Like everyone across our country, lockdown came as a bit of a shock to us at The Bustard Inn. “Shut down the pubs”, Boris said, but it wasn’t as easy as that! The cellar had to be cleared, cleaned and closed safely, the kitchen had to be deep cleaned, as did the bar and restaurant. Our first week of lockdown was spent doing just that.
And now, eighteen weeks later we are preparing to open our doors again to the village and all our lovely customers. We have been working hard to make sure we get everything right; it looks like Alan Titchmarsh has performed one of his transformations on our beautiful garden, the restaurant has been reorganised and a brand new menu has been devised by Ben, our Head Chef and the beer has arrived!
We are excited to welcome you back on 31 July; there will be changes but we are not fazed by them and are confident you will be able to enjoy The Bustard Inn experience, albeit slightly different, just as you have before.
