As the nights get lighter and the temperatures begin to rise, we look forward to what this will mean in terms of your dining experience at The Bustard Inn.  Apart from being able to enjoy the al fresco delights of our lovely garden, our menu will begin to reflect the seasonal cuisine available to us.  Skrei cod, a favourite of ours, will feature very soon.  A Norwegian delicacy, Skrei cod spend their life enjoying the nutrient-rich waters of the Barents Sea before they make the 1,000 mile trip to spawn.  All this swimming gives the fish plenty of muscle which results in its firm texture and beautiful taste.  We will be foraging locally for wild garlic to accompany our dishes this season and when asparagus makes an entrance in May – we will source that locally too.

Spring is a season that brings change; our menu will follow suit.
