Rang on the off chance hoping for a table en route from
Norfolk to see a friend in Derbyshire and a lovely helpful lady sorted us out. Great to come back again after having met friends here before and be served by friendly, professional waiters, beautiful surroundings, inspired menu. The food was heavenly, looked as good as it tasted The water bathed fillet steak was unreal! Ended up staying a bit too long and were a little late! Couldn’t leave without all the courses!! Thoroughly recommend this place rustic but luxurious, serene down to earth atmosphere, great staff and excellent chef who was even on master chef we learned, a quarter finalist!! Amazing. Go!
