Such a friendly welcoming pub in a pretty village. The food we had was outstanding and more akin to a fine dining restaurant than a pub but without the astronomical prices. Absolutely delicious. Hubby had the duck breast with delicious beetroot. This was gluten free and there were 6 gluten free main course options on the menu and one vegan. I had the salmon with the most amazing Rosti and gorgeous creamy sauce.. Followed by chocolate fudge cake which was a torte to die for served with malted milk ice cream and a warm blackberry and walnut Bakewell tart with blackberry ripple ice-cream, which was a nice twist on the usual Bakewell tart. Our bill was about £77 in total including 2 cokes and a J2o. The atmosphere is lovely as are all the staff. This is the second time we’ve been and both times have been wonderful. We shall be back! Highly recommend this pub.
