A really excellent ‘gastro-pub’. Service friendly, with an extra special mention to the younger staff who were polite, efficient and helpful. Food excellent – and the dirty fries ‘side’ was truly ‘rite dirtee’ – said as a pirate (can’t think why that’s relevant so far inland, but it covers the point being made)! A real notch above other still good gastro-pubs and a place to re-visit.
