After a difficult start to wedding planning, we found The Bustard and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The pub is beautiful, the food is some of the best we’ve ever tasted and Lesley is absolutely wonderful. She made every part of our wedding seamless and enjoyable. Lesley was always on hand to answer a question and took all of our stress away with her knowledge, organisation and positivity. We would also like to thank the whole team at The Bustard who really felt like part of the celebration. We have had so many comments from our guests about how fantastic the team and food were. We couldn’t believe the value for money we got from booking our wedding here. We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding – and that is all thanks to Lesley and The Bustard team!

We cannot recommend The Bustard enough. We got married on the 8th of June 2023 and celebrated the best day of our lives with Lesley and the team. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day from the run up to the wedding to the day itself – not only is the setting beautiful, the team were so accommodating and attentive during our day. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to relax throughout the day and I know that everything would be taken care of.
We also now have a place to go every year to celebrate our anniversary.

Thank you so much to Lesley and all of her amazing team at The Bustard Inn.  We held our wedding
there on Friday 22nd July and we cannot recommend it enough!
Right from our very first planning meeting with Lesley we knew we had found the right venue with
the right people to help us on our journey to making it just the perfect day, and it so was. Lesley took
a lot of pressure away and we had full confidence in her with her exceptional planning and support
throughout. 
The venue looked perfect on the day, it was decorated beautifully. Lesley and the team worked hard
to make everything run smoothly throughout the day and they really looked after all of our guests
and it was noticed by everyone too.
As for the food, absolutely amazing! Everyone commented on the quality of the dishes and the
efficiency of service. It really couldn’t have been any better.
Also a special thank you Lesley for helping to keep me calm that split second before I walked down
the aisle too; I had a slight overwhelming moment.
If you are looking for a beautiful location for your wedding or any other special occasion, we cannot
recommend The Bustard Inn enough. We would do it all again in a heartbeat!

We hired The Bustard Inn all day for had our wedding in May 2022 and it was absolutely perfect.
Lesley and her team were wonderful, with many of the wedding guests mentioning how attentive
and lovely they were.
You know from the minute you meet Lesley that she really does care and wants to host a great
wedding for you! The food was divine (as always), even with 45 guests to feed, the quality of the
food and the service was spot on, with compliments all round.
We had an extra 35 guests for the evening reception and the venue was the perfect size and layout
to ensure a good celebration was had by all. Lesley was also a good sport when being dragged onto
the dancefloor by overexcited wedding guests!
It really was a perfect day and we can’t thank Lesley and the team enough.

Lesley, you and your team really made us feel at ease from the first moment we met, which feels like years ago now. You welcomed us like family for our special day and accommodated literally every request!

The food! Where do I start? Well, everyone has said they’ve never had a better meal. Served impeccably by your amazing team. And the taste! It’s literally the best meal I’ve ever had! I wish I could convey to all those couples looking for a wedding venue how much they need to use The Bustard Inn because the experience will be literally beyond imagination…..well that’s how we felt. All your team have looked after each of our requests e.g. the microphone because of Dad’s hearing difficulty. Accommodating our photographer and DJ and me changing my mind on so many things!

Lesley, because of you and your team, The Bustard Inn will now forever have a place in our hearts and bring back so many happy memories and we will definitely be back, not only for the food but for the welcome and the hospitality! Lots of love and see you all soon!

When we were looking for a local wedding venue The Bustard Inn was quickly shortlisted and even more quickly went to the top of the list.

From our initial meeting with the Bustard team through to the big day they proved to be very professional and were dedicated to making our day very special indeed.

The setting for the service and the attention to detail were both excellent and the staff were very attentive. The available menu options were comprehensive and the quality of the food was first class. We could not recommend the Bustard highly enough and would urge any couples planning their own special day to take the time to drop in and talk to the Lesley and her team.

Me & Chris married at The Bustard Inn in June 2019, after deciding to set our date in February! Right from the initial enquiry telephone call we were immediately at ease, and quickly confirmed our date after seeing the beautiful venue and meeting Lesley. We were both keen to keeps costs down and still have the amazing day every bride dreams of and the entire planning process of our special day was seamless. I can honestly say the planning was completely stress free and we both had complete confidence in Lesley. Lesley and the team were always available and happy to help with any concerns, ideas, thoughts or wishes and we worked closely together to achieve our dream, even insuring the venue dressers were fully informed. Every member of staff is friendly and warm, completely approachable and respectful of our dream. The day itself was stunning. We had a beautiful ceremony with 25 guests, with the setting more than we could ever dream of. Our beautiful photographs were taken inside the grounds and we followed with a 3 course wedding breakfast, which has been highly complimented by our guests ever since. We cannot thank Lesley and her team enough for their part in our wedding day. There is not one single detail we would change if we could, it was perfect. We now consider Lesley a good friend and we look forward to returning to The Bustard Inn and would not hesitate to highly recommend them. Thank you again to you all

I attended a wedding at the Bustard Inn on Saturday 19 Aug 17. I just wanted to pass on my praise for a beautiful little proper English pub, serving amazing food (the lamb shank), with some very helpful and accommodating staff. Please pass this on to the staff and especially the chef.

We recently held our wedding at The Bustard Inn with 43 guests and had the most perfect experience. From the first visit where we sat down with Lesley and discussed our plans, followed by several more visits with Lesley and Hannah running up to the actual day, it could not have been any easier or more pleasurable an experience. With Hannah’s experience and Lesley’s infectious enthusiasm we were in safe hands, and along with the rest of the staff, they make a great team. The location was perfect for us, intimate, beautiful and relaxed where everyone felt a part of the occasion. We followed the ceremony with a three course meal and the food was exceptional. The service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was exactly what we wanted from our day. We truly cannot thank everyone enough, or recommend The Bustard Inn highly enough as a wedding venue. Our day turned out to be everything we dreamed of, and much more. Thank you!!
