One Sunday in August as we were just cracking on with our usual busy service, a lone gentleman and his dog settled in the garden for a roast dinner. I knew I recognised him but couldn’t think from where. The penny dropped after chatting with the chefs in the kitchen and I was so excited to learn we had Emmerdale’s Dr Liam Cavanagh tucking into his Yorkshire pudding! Such a lovely, chatty man who was more than happy to pose for a picture. Please ignore the over-excited look on my face! I wonder who we will host next?!
